October was a great month for the Gallery Stroll as the weather cools and we fire up the marshmallow pits. Tons of new shows lit up the autumn air as people from all over Utah came to enjoy the atmosphere. Below are a few pics from the shows, as you can see, it was really amazing.

Mode Boutique (45 N University Ave; 377-1168) “I Would Fly,” new paintings by Ashley Mae Christensen.
Coleman Studios (117 N University Ave; 225-5766) New photographs by Chris Carlson.

Terra Nova Gallery (41 West 300 N; 374-0016) “Plein Air Provo 2008.” An exhibit of works done in Plein Air as part of “Plein Air Provo 208.”
Sego Art Center (169 N. Univ. Ave; 599-0680) “Fort Phantasm”, a solo exhibit of new paintings by Allan Ludwig.
Coal Umbrella (157 N University Ave; 369-4214) New paintings by Duane Call.
Provo Community Church (175 N. Univ. Ave; 368-1180) works by members of the congregation.
Scary live doll at the Painted Temple, 43 W. 300 N. 801. 356.8282. Great Halloween show.
My camera was on the fritz for September Gallery Stroll, I do apologize. If anyone drove by the Sego Art Center and was wondering what the heck was in the window, it was this: 7,000 books stacked together in a cube. It was part of the show, "Collective" with artist Adam Bateman and Pam Bowman.
