Gallery Stroll this Friday, Aug. 1

Each month, more and more people are discovering the fun and excitement of Gallery Stroll in Provo. This month we’re excited to add a new venue to the mix. The Provo Community Church, United Church of Christ will begin displaying monthly exhibits done by local artists. The Church is located at 175 N. Univ. Ave. right next to the Sego Art Center. Don’t miss this month as several new shows will be on display, along with free food as always! All shows will run through the month of August.

PEEL opening this fri. at Gallery 110

Come this Fri. to Gallery 110 to see the opening of Jessica Peterson's exhibit, PEEL. An opening reception will be held at 7 pm. Light refreshments and great photography will be served.

Children's Show opening

Mon. was the opening reception for the Freedom Festival's Annual Children's Art Show. Over 106 children participated, with over 50 awards being granted. A special thank you to all the parents and children that did such a great job.

July Gallery Stroll recap

What a great turnout we had for Gallery Stroll this month, especially considering the change in date. With the excitement of the Freedom Festival, the parade, and all of the fourth of July celebrations, July was really a special month for the Gallery Stroll. Here are some photos of the opening. A special thank you to everyone that volunteered at the booth, as well as all the people that stopped by to make some drip paintings!

Children's show at the Utah County Art Gallery

Be sure to come check out the great exhibit of children's art now up at the Utah County Art Gallery co-sponsored by the Utah County Art Board and America's Freedom Festival at Provo. Juried artworks by over 100 local children, ages 5-14 will be on display through the month of July. An opening reception will be held Mon., July 7, from 6-9 pm. A special awards ceremony will be held at 7 and 8 pm.

The Utah County Art Gallery is located in the Utah County Health and Justice Building at 151 S. Univ. Ave. in Provo.
